Social Media Facts and Figures
Below, a summary of our social media efforts in the month of June.
Our Audience:
- The UM-Flint Twitter page (@umflint) has grown to 453 followers.
- In June, UM-Flint’s Facebook fan page gained 104 fans (up to 3,667 from 3,563).
- The UM-Flint YouTube channel’s videos had now been viewed over 36,557 times (up about 2,700 views). The most recent video, which shows how UM-Flint is growing, was added in June and has already been viewed over 300 times. A clip from the video was also used for a piece created by Information and Technology Services at U-M Ann Arbor.
Our Reach:
- The highest number of “interactions per post” on Facebook was 5.8 on June 4.
- The highest number of “ total interactions” in one day on Facebook was 18 on June 23, the day that an earthquake centered in Ontario was felt here in Flint, Michigan.
- The highest number of photo views was 103 on June 11, when new campus photos were posted.
