General Statement of Duties
The Web Application Developer is responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications. They will work with a wide variety of stakeholders to build high performing enterprise systems that improve business outcomes and increase staff productivity and financial performance.
Minimum Acceptable Employment Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related discipline preferred
- Ability to pass drug screen, physical and criminal background check
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) as well as computer and networking basics
- Proficient in IIS 6/7
- Proficient in SQL
- Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2010, VB.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services and RESTful Web Services
- Knowledge of software implementation best practices
- Understanding of JQuery, Prototype, or similar javascript technologies
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
- Must be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented and a responsible team-player
- Must exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
- Must be passionate about building high-quality systems
