PHHS assistant professor publishes article in the Journal of School Nursing
Assistant Professor, Gergana Kodjebacheva, has had her article, “Decreasing Uncorrected Refractive Error in the Classroom Through a Multifactorial Pilot Intervention,” published in the Journal of School Nursing this month. Dr. Kodjebacheva’s study evaluated the effectiveness of a pilot intervention which aimed to increase the use of eyeglasses among children with refractive error in one school in California.
PHHS represented by students and faculty at women's night out event
PHHS and the School of Health Professions & Studies (SHPS) were well-represented at Women’s Night Out on Thursday, March 21. SHPS faculty and students screened about 40 women for blood pressure and distributed literature. Many PHHS students and alumni volunteered their time to make the exhibit a success. Among those who helped coordinate, set up,
