The events below are arts-related events that are available in the UM-Flint community:

 

1) Independent Movies at the FIA:

To receive extra credit keep your ticket stub to turn in to Dr. Lippert

Admission to each feature (tickets at the door):

$5 FIA members         $6 non-members       $4 Friends of Modern Art members

Free for students with valid ID

(Only one admission charge is required for the two Saturday night features.)

2) Second Annual Art and Art History UM-Flint Student Symposium at the Flint Institute of Arts

When: March 30th, 2013 approximately from 1-4pm

Where: Isabel Hall at the Flint Institute of Arts

Why: Join us for an afternoon of scholarship on the arts shared by UM-Flint’s promising students in art history and the visual arts.  Six speakers will present papers of 15 minutes each on diverse topics.  The event is free to all members of the community.  Refreshments will be served, and programs will be provided.  Admission to the FIA collections is also free on Saturdays.  Please see the symposium website for more information:
