1) Independent Movies at the FIA:

(Only one admission charge is required for the two Saturday night features.)

2) Second Annual Art and Art History UM-Flint Student Symposium at the Flint Institute of Arts
When: March 30th, 2013 approximately from 1-4pm
Where: Isabel Hall at the Flint Institute of Arts

Why: Join us for an afternoon of scholarship on the arts shared by UM-Flint’s promising students in art history and the visual arts. Six speakers will present papers of 15 minutes each on diverse topics. The event is free to all members of the community. Refreshments will be served, and programs will be provided. Admission to the FIA collections is also free on Saturdays. Please see the symposium website for more information:

3) Visit of Dr. James Elkins organised by Dr. Stephen Bernstein in the English Department and supported by the Provost’s office through the Winegarden endowed professorship:
