Submission Guidelines

Qua Literary and Fine Arts Magazine 2022-2023 Submission Guidelines

Qua accepts rolling submissions from writers and artists currently living in the state of Michigan.  For 2022-2023 we are accepting submissions of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and visual art for publication in our Fall and Winter editions.

All submissions should use our submission portal, where they will be assessed anonymously.  When saving your soon-to-be-submitted documents, please exclude your name from the document filename.

Please use 12 point Times New Roman font. Prose should be typed double-spaced; poems may be either single- or double-spaced. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please inform us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

Only send polished work. While typos and grammatical errors will not automatically lead to a rejection, they are duly considered. Show that you take your craft seriously, and editors will also take it seriously. We look forward to reading your work!
