In today’s Graduate Student Spotlight, we’re looking at Nurse Practitioner student Michelle McLaughlin! Michelle is focusing on Acute Gerontology, which is the science of old age and aging, and the specific health concerns older individuals face. Michelle is excited to expand on her nursing knowledge with this focus in gerontology, and enjoys all of the options for detailed learning the University provides. She sees her education here at UM-Flint as a chance to deepen her healthcare knowledge, expand her network, and maintain the life-long learning healthcare practitioners must keep up with.
