Hello again, and welcome back to the Office of Graduate Programs Graduate Student Spotlight! For today’s spotlight, we’re focusing on Health Care Management student, D’Asia Beard! D’Asia is an outgoing student interested in leadership and making a difference. She is hard-working, having to focus both on her own career and her schoolwork. D’Asia was previously awarded the Greater Flint Community Leadership Scholarship earlier this year, which you can read about here! We’re happy to hear from D’Asia more, and we asked her our usual questions:
What’s Your Favorite Part of Your Graduate Program?
It is FULLY online and flexible. I am able to work around my schedule for work and school.
What’s Your Favorite Part of Campus?
My favorite part about campus is that it is close to my home and everyone so far has been really helpful with showing me around.
Any Advice for Other Students?
Don’t be afraid to get out there!
