Juggling college, work, family, friends and other obligations is a challenge. We get it. Fortunately, business students like you can rest easy knowing you have a weekly planner, as seen below.

This weekly planner is customized for students enrolled at the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management. Those who take advantage stand to:

Major SOM events are bolded. These events include the Zillion Solutions Competition, during which you could win up to $2,850 for your new product or service idea.

Week 1: Jan. 4-10

  • Jan. 5: Part of Term 1 and 2 classes begin1
  • Jan. 7: Mgagement Fair
  • Jan. 9: Deadline to apply for May graduation
  • Jan. 9: Last day to add a class for Part of Term 2

  • Jan. 30: Hockey Game Alumni Outing (students welcome)
  • Jan. 30: Part of Term 1 deadline to drop individual classes with no refund and a grade of “W” for “Withdrew”

February features the launch of the annual Zillion Solutions Competition on Feb. 26. This competition allows students to pitch their small business ideas for the chance to win cash prizes. Winners can then use these funds to help bring their new products and services to market.

  • Feb. 25: Virtual Alumni Career Panel (worth five CDR points)
  • Feb. 26: Zillion Solutions Competition deadline
  • Feb. 27: Part of Term 1 deadline to drop individual classes with no refund and a grade of “W” for “Withdrew”
