This Thursday evening, join PHHS and the Prevention Research Center of Michigan for a free film screening of the HBO documentary “The Weight of the Nation,” followed by a panel discussion on the film.

Three years in the making, “The Weight of the Nation” answers crucial questions about yo-yo dieting, how metabolism functions, why stress affects weight, and how to keep weight off forever.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion including Erin Lamb, Director, Youth Programs, Crim Fitness Foundation; Dr. Sara Pendleton, Genesys Health System; and Suzanne Cupal, Epidemiologist, Genesee County Health Department and Chair, SPROUT Coalition.
