Graduate Programs

Blogs from students, faculty & staff

This fall, the Office of Graduate Programs wants to honor our graduate students! Every week, we’ll be spotlighting a different student and their experiences here at UM-Flint. We’ll be starting with a shout out to Kaylee Sayen!

Kaylee is a Physician’s Assistant student with a lot of interest in learning how to best support patients in many different areas. We asked her a few questions about tips she has for other graduate students, and this is what she said:

What is Your Favorite Part of Your Graduate Program?

“Getting to learn how to help patients with illness in every body system and healthcare setting, whether it be family practice or emergency medicine or anything in between”

What’s Your Favorite Part of Campus?

“Walking around outside the WSW building, and even taking a trip to the Flint Farmers Market!”

Any Advice for Other Students?

“Make a study schedule! Include time to study, time to take a break, and time to have fun. Stick to it and you’ll be golden!”

We appreciate all of the efforts Kaylee is going through, and thank her for participating!

Come back next week to meet another graduate student!
