Admission requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the arts (art history, museum studies, visual culture, fine arts, design, theatre, dance, music, performing arts, art education, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Reading, writing, speaking ability in English (TOEFL score for applicants whose primary language is not English).
  • Candidates who do not have an undergraduate degree in an arts or humanities degree related to the program’s subject areas may be considered for admission if they can demonstrate expertise in at least one area related to arts and humaniaties study).
