Dr. Julie Jacob attends the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Congress in Bangkok, Thailand


Dr. Julie Jacob, Program Director of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at the University of Michigan-Flint, recently attended the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Congress in Bangkok, Thailand. The WFOT Congress is the largest international gathering of occupational therapy professionals, bringing together practitioners, educators, and researchers from around the world to share innovations in practice, education, and research. Through attending presentations and engaging with global colleagues, Dr. Jacob gained insight into emerging practices and international perspectives in occupational therapy. This experience also supports her ongoing work with partners in Ukraine to strengthen occupational therapy education and workforce capacity.
