Graduate Programs

Blogs from students, faculty & staff

It’s a bittersweet (but mostly sweet) time of year– time to say goodbye to some of our wonderful grad students! Starting today, the Office of Graduate Programs will be highlighting some of our graduating students, and wishing them well on their journey! Today’s graduate is James DeVriendt, studying Health Care Management, and graduating this summer! Congratulations, James, we wish you all the best! Here’s a little more about him:

Why did you choose your major?

I have worked in healthcare for the past 20 years. In order to understand the field on a deeper level, getting my master’s made sense.

What do you plan to do post graduating?

I will continue to pursue senior management positions within the field.

What is your favorite memory of your graduate studies?

Working within a team for course work. Although I took the program entirely online, I had the opportunity to meet students from around the country.
