Do you have a big idea that you’d like to see implemented at the local, regional, or national level?
This past April, eight UM-Flint students shared their big ideas as part of the annual Policy Pitch Competition, hosted by the Master of Public Administration Program.
Participants pitched their proposals to a group of area leaders, answered questions, and then their proposals were voted on to choose the top three.
And the winners were . . .
- 1st place: Jennifer Cronkright, graduate student in the MPA program: “The Michigan College Choice Act: Dual Enrollment Access and Tuition Equity”
- 2nd place: Jenna McIntire, sociology & criminal justice major: “UM-Flint Generative AI”
- 3rd place: Tiffanny Walks-Dellheim, graduate student in the MPA program: “Improving ADA Access Through Applicant Education and Certification”
