<\/p>\n
Flint and Steel was a Match–<\/p>\n
recycle \u2018em now, substitute the strength<\/p>\n
for rust, reuse the dust in a length<\/p>\n
of pipe and pump poison through the latch.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Better Men Built the City on a Tilt–<\/p>\n
spin the wager over three-years\u2019 winter, pause<\/p>\n
\u2018em like watches missing spring, till the underline thaws<\/p>\n
and stains brown the quilted streets woven with guilt.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
An Industry Deflated by Hearsay!–<\/p>\n
carry the news by the case,<\/p>\n
bottle \u2018em up like ships of better taste;<\/p>\n
intercepted by a State of Parley.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a Lead Balloon Descending! Send the Hint–<\/p>\n
trace it along the river\u2019s meander as it collapses<\/p>\n
toward the damned, draw in its gases like smoke from ashes,<\/p>\n
forgo the tragic match and mold a new fit;<\/p>\n
Demand from our heavy lungs: A \u201cStronger, Prouder\u201d Flint.<\/p>\n
