To the roses in full bloom on Second Ave- I’ve missed you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This winter has not been kind to me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s cold has lingered in these bones for too long<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I’m so glad the spring rain has brought you here to me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

To the window daisies that dance to the buzzing song of the bees <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your happiness is contagious<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your sway has taught me what freedom looks like<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

To the fresh strawberries sunkissed by the sun<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being picked with sticky hands and smiles <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re beautiful<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

To the children’s pitter patter in puddles <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The height to their kites <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their laughter breaking the stillness of winter <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new season has begun <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

To the new love that has blossomed <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filled with new kisses and \u201c I love you\u2019s\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

May it always be a breathe of fresh air <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To spring, My friend, I am so happy that you are here\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
