The semester is well-underway now, as well as the spooky month of October, and we at the Marian E. Wright Writing Center have been busy! We have a writing contest going on for October and Halloween. If you are a UM-Flint student, faculty member, or staff, you can submit a piece of writing to our contest!
Submit an original piece that is single spaced, 1 page, maximum 400 words, and is in Microsoft Word. Email it to [email protected] with “Spooktacular Story” in the subject line.
Judges will choose the top 3 stories and then they will be read at our Open House on October 29th, where people can cast their votes to pick their favorite creepy story. If you love to write or want to try your hand at something spooky, this is just the contest for you!
