I remember two years ago searching for a group I could join to study in Reggio Emilia, Italy. I’m excited to say that the day is finally here! I’m heading to Italy and although nervous for the flight I am so excited to start this journey!

Since first hearing about the Reggio Emilia approach to education I have fallen in love with it. I read all the books and journals I could and toured many schools in the United States who use this approach. Now I get to see it in Reggio Emilia and couldn’t be more excited. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with early childhood educators not only from UM-Flint, but also schools across Michigan.
