Tobi Adebisi
Major: Computer Science
Expected Graduation: May 2015
Tobi is an international student from Nigeria, and a senior in the Honors Program studying computer science. As a Resident Advisor with the First Street Residence Hall, he spends most of his time on campus, and is very involved with several student organizations at UM-Flint. His hobbies are soccer, chess, programming, and binge-watching TV shows. Upon graduation, Tobi hopes to work with any exciting tech start-up.
Janelle Manuel
Major: Communication
Minor: Health Education
Expected Graduation: 2015
Janelle is a communication major UM-Flint. After transferring here in 2012, she is focused on graduating and continuing her studies in public health. She enjoys dance and volunteering with the kids at the YMCA in her hometown. Janelle is looking forward to becoming more involved on campus, and hopes study abroad before she graduates.
Floyd Pouncil
Major: English
Minors: Fine Art and Psychology
Expected Graduation: 2014
Floyd is a senior studying English with minors in Fine Art and Psychology. As a student, he is active on campus and loves to stay involved. He works for the First Year Experience Intergroup Dialogue course as a Peer Facilitator and is a Resident Advisor at First Street Residence Hall. He plans on pursuing a career in higher education and student affairs in the future.
Zachary Scott
Majors: Computer Science and English
Concentrations: Software Engineering and Writing
Expected Graduation: 2016
Zach is a senior studying computer science and English as a part of the Honors Program at UM-Flint. He has been involved on campus as a video producer/website editor in the Office of Financial Aid, a teacher’s assistant in Computer Science, and a research assistant dealing with network security. He hopes to one day work as a professor while continuing to write short fiction in his spare time.
Erika Trigg
Major: Communication
Expected Graduation: 2014
Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, Erika is a fourth-year student in the Honors Program studying Communication. As a student living in the residence hall, she’s had the opportunity to work three jobs on campus and join a variety of clubs. Erika hopes to go to graduate school to study higher education and student affairs after graduating from UM-Flint.
Ethan Zeigler
Majors: Spanish and Linguistics
Expected Graduation: 2015
Ethan studies spanish and linguistics and is a part of the Honors Program. When not working at the River Rapids District Library in Chesaning, he collects languages for fun. In addition to Spanish he has studied Japanese and Chinese with plans to move on to other languages in the future.
