Dear Campus Community,   While Merit has continued to work on the FANNET fiber optic network maintenance, our other ISP, 123Net, has arrived on campus with the necessary replacement equipment that failed earlier this morning.   123Net is actively replacing the equipment that failed earlier this morning and Internet services should return to normal soon

Banner and SIS Access Restored

This morning at approximately 6:30am ITS encountered an unexpected outage with our Banner and SIS systems. ITS technicians recognized the outage and took immediate action restoring Banner systems by 7:35am and restoring full functionality of all other systems by 8:45am. Campus Network Outage 1/27/2016

Campus Community,   At 8:14am today, the UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) located in MSB experienced a catastrophic  hardware failure.  This caused a network outage on campus for the Murchie Science Building, University Pavilion, University Pavilion Annex, and the Harrison Street Ramp.  ITS staff went into immediate action, identified the root cause of the problem by
