The main branch of the ITS Helpdesk is located in the Murchie Science Building (MSB) Room 206 alongside Murchie Science Building Computer Lab. This Helpdesk is open:

7am to 10pm Monday through Friday
10am to 6pm Saturday


There is also a smaller branch of the ITS Helpdesk found in the Computer Lab located in the William S. White Building, room 3174.

If you would like to speak to a Helpdesk Technician, the phones are manned Monday through Friday from 7am to 10pm and Saturday’s from 10am to 6pm.  Outside of these hours or during high volume call times, such as the beginning of the semester, you may receive a recording.  Please leave a detailed message including, when possible, a phone number to contact you back at and your uniqname/UMID.

When emailing the ITS Helpdesk or leaving a voicemail please do not leave any personal information such as passwords or social security numbers.  The Helpdesk will never ask for your password for any reason.  Also, we would prefer to use your UMID number instead of your Social Security number for any searches we may need to do.

The ITS Helpdesk and all open labs are closed when the campus is closed.  Examples include snow days, and holidays such as Thanksgiving, Labor Day, and Memorial Day.  The ITS Helpdesk and labs are open whenever campus is open, even if classes are not in session.  Please visit or contact the Helpdesk directly for more details on if a specific lab will be open or not.
