Due to an accident in the area yesterday, the University lost network connectivity from MERIT, our Internet Service Provider. At approximately 10:20 P.M last night, our internet connection was restored to campus, and within 2 hours of that time all services had returned to normal functionality.
If you were on campus during this downtime, you could reach university services (Email, Blackboard, H and I Drive, etc.) but you could not reach outside resources (Google, Hotmail, etc.). If you were off campus however it was just the opposite and you were unable to reach any University resources.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding while our Internet Service Provider worked hard to return service to the campus community.
