Due to the power outage Sunday, August 8th, 2010, the majority of the student email databases were corrupted. ITS is in the process of trying to recover as much of the old email as possible but this process will take several days as only one database can be processed at a time. In the interim ITS has had to bring blank databases online. What this mean is all students can now login to their email account but it will not contain any of their old email. Students will begin to see old email in their inboxes as each database is recovered. ITS will send out another notice when all of the mailboxes are restored.
