Flint River Ecology Study
This study collects fisheries, benthic macroinvertebrate, habitat, and water quality data downstream and upstream of a century-old dam on the Flint River in Flint, MI. The dam is scheduled to be removed in 2023 and we will continue to collect data to evaluate restoration success.

Watershed report cards
This research evaluates some rivers in urban landscapes to those in non-urban landscapes using metrics that affect and thus dictate in part the aquatic communities that live in them.

Great Lakes sea lamprey management
Multiple studies are evaluating ways to improve the management of invasive Great Lakes sea lamprey – from evaluating movements of tagged juveniles to using a model to determine effects of targeted stream treatments.
