Are you thinking about enrolling in English 400-01 (Capstone Seminar: Zora Neale Hurston & Richard Wright) in Winter 2011 but haven’t done so yet?

If you’re interested in the course, please don’t delay in registering. The English Department has to decide whether to cut this and other courses with low enrollments by Friday, December 17, 2010.

English 400-01 (Hurston & Wright) meets Wednesdays from 4 to 6:45 pm in Winter 2011. The CRN is 20621.

To enroll in the course, you first need to get a course override. To do this, send an e-mail to Professor Alicia Kent ([email protected]) with a list of the English courses you have taken so far (including those you are currently enrolled in) and when you plan to graduate. She will then contact you when are able to register through SIS, the Student Information System. Don’t worry—when you register, you won’t be billed for tuition until January when classes begin.

To see a course description and list of required books for the course, check out the English Department’s Winter 2011 course listing at http://www.umflint.edu/english/Winter%202011.htm/. And feel free to email Professor Kent ([email protected]) if you have questions about the course.
