Project Description

We were joined by Dr. Cohen from Kettering University. He taught the girls about phylogenic trees and the nucleotides that code DNA. The girls were then able to build some phylogenic trees comparing types of fish in sushi and types of edible plants using a computer program to generate the DNA sequences of specific genes for comparison.
