Becoming “Makers” at the Fab Lab

We went to the Mott FabLab where the girls learned how computer programs are used to control 3D printers and laser cutters to make prototypes for inventors. The ladies also drew up their own design for the laser cutter that was made into a keepsake. In addition to having some interesting communication challenges, the ladies were able to watch the laser cutter etch and cut out their designs at the Mott FabLab.
