Project Description
On May 30, we went to the Michigan Science Center for a day of fun! We explored various interactive and hands-on activities, visited a local diner for lunch, and went to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. What a fun day!
What We Learned
The Michigan Science Center offered numerous activities for the girls. We learned that engineers work in many different fields by watching a show in the Toyota Engineering 4D Theater. We watched a movie about humpback whales in the Chrysler IMAX Dome Theater. Perhaps what was most fun was exploring the two floors of hands-on exhibits about everything science- from sound waves, fulcrums, and light to how the human heart functions, earth-friendly concrete and surveying land.
