Responsibilities include teaching 18 credits per academic year (2-3 courses per semester), establishing an ongoing program of research, mentoring students in research, and engaging in service supporting the department, college, and university. <strong>Application Deadline: July 7th, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/apply.interfolio.com\/145021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">learn more + apply<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank in Criminal Justice to begin in August 2024 or January 2025. The candidate must have a PhD in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Sociology and expertise in Criminal Justice or Criminology by the start date. We seek a broadly trained teacher-scholar with expertise in restorative justice and\/or policing who will contribute to the growth of a dynamic criminal justice program.
