Flyer-for-Art-blog-(1)-(1)Our goal is to provide a place for you to sell art works that have been a part of UM-Flint Exhibitions with the proceeds to go directly to you, the artist!

Each artist (current student or alumni) will have his/her own page & listing in the blog to showcase their work. You may link to the page for social media and/or your own art websites (e.g. your professional site or, artist facebook page), if you wish.  Solo exhibition photos can be used on the Exhibitions page, if you wish to include them, and your name and title of the exhibition will appear in credit.

Please Note:

  • At this time, we are accepting up to 10 works of art per artist. This is subject to change.
  • All artwork posted will have an expiration date of 6 months from the date of posting, at which time it will be removed from the site, unless otherwise specified by the artist to continue in 6 month periods.
  • The artist agrees that if an art work is sold from the site, that we may continue to maintain the image with the designation of “Sold” for the duration of the artist’s page.

 

Please submit the following information:

Your Name 
Email address – Please specify if we may post your email address on your Artist Page
Phone number – For administrator use only, this will NOT be posted
Title of Work –Up to 10 works
Medium (e.g. Oil on canvas)
Dimensions –Please specify Framed or Unframed
Price — Choices: list the price, NFS (not for sale), or  ‘Please contact the Artist’
Artist’s Statement – Please include a brief paragraph

 

Please label your image files:  Last Name_ Title   (e.g. Kelly_Baroque Recreation.jpg)

Images:  Please submit photos in .jpg format. The following Maximum sizes are acceptable:

  • Thumbnails – max. width 150 x max. width 150 pixels
  • Medium – max. width 300 x max. width 300 pixels
  • Large — max. width 1024 x max. width 1024 pixels

 

Please Note:  Your page will not be posted if any information is missing from the list above.  You will be contacted to provide this information before it can be released on the site.
