Position: Marketing Intern
Location: East Lansing, MI
Hours and Compensation: 20-25 hrs/week, monthly stipend of $500
Supervisors: Eleanor Fuchs
Requirements: At least sophomore standing by fall 2011, business or related major, preferred 3.50 GPA or higher

Organization Description: The Prima Civitas Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that gathers the information, resources, and partners necessary to solve Michigan economic issues.
Duties and Responsibilities: As a Marketing intern, there will be a wide range of duties and responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Maintenance of website content
- Producing and coordinating multimedia material for print, web, and others
- Assistance with the maintenance of database systems
- Assistance with outreach and coordination
- Assisting in the day-to-day operation at the assigned programs
- Updating and maintaining social media sites
- Assisting in planning and implementation of 5K walk in Ann Arbor
- Fundraising activities
Skills and Qualifications: We are looking for an intern with a diverse skill set that is able to prioritize workflow, execute projects, and achieve goals in a timely manner.
Additional preferred skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- General computer skills including web navigation
- Experience with netdotnuke web platform software
- Strong social media skills
Applicant will be expected to conduct work off-site, so must have access to reliable transportation.
