2012 Winter Career Fair!

The Winter Career Fair is right around the corner, are you ready for it? The Fair will be featuring a variety of employers seeking qualified individuals like you and is for students and alumni who are interested in full-time positions, cooperative education and/ or internships.

 Are you prepared for the Winter Career Fair? Be sure to follow these useful tips before attending on March 14.

Career Fair Check List:

–       Have you logged into Career Connection and uploaded a resume to be critiqued by a UM-Flint Career Counselor?

–       Have you prepared several copies of your resume to take with you?

–       Do you know what you’ll be wearing? Have you picked professional, interview-worthy clothes?

–       Have you practiced interviewing on Career Connection through InterviewStream?

–       Have you researched some of the employers attending?

–       Do you know the time and place of the Fair?

Also, is the resume that you plan on bringing neat and professional? Have you prepared a current one? Be sure to utilize Career Connection’s Resume Builder where you can start from scratch, choose from a variety of field specific templates, or submit a finished resume to be critiqued by your AACC Career Advisor.
