24/7 ITS Lab – Now OPEN!!!

Everyone,

ITS is happy to announce that after more than a year of investigation we have been able to create an ITS open computer lab that will be available to everyone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The lab is located in the Riverfront building on the second floor in room 2401 near the elevators. There are signs in the building to direct you to the ITS open lab. The lab has 30 stations as well as a black and white and a color printer.

To enter the computer lab you will have to swipe your Mcard. If you have never swiped your Mcard to enter the lab (or the French Hall 205 lab) you will have to swipe it twice the first time in order to get in so that the system registers your Mcard. If your Mcard has expired you will have to get a new Mcard from MSB 206 first.

The Riverfront building is open to the public from 9am until 7pm. Outside of those hours you will need to swipe your MCard to gain entrance to the building at the front entrance. Inside the vestibule at the front door, off of Saginaw street, there is a card swipe that says Mcard. Again if you have never swiped your MCard to enter a building or computer lab you will have to swipe it twice the first time you use it. The Riverfront Center restricts access to the elevators for the safety of its residents. If someone with special needs requires use of the elevators to gain access to the second floor, they must present their MCard to the Riverfront Centers’ front desk staff who can grant them entry.

Reminder: All ITS Helpdesk locations and the 3174 WSW and 206 MSB Lab locations will be closed from 10:30am – 3:30pm Friday March 2nd. 205 FH will remain open via card swipe during this time.

Software sales will be temporarily relocated to 905 North Bank Center. Please order software online at itstore.umflint.edu and bring your receipt with you. If you are paying cash or check please be sure pay at the cashiers office before heading to 905 North Bank Center.

Please call 810-762-3123 with any questions or concerns with regards to software sales or any urgent IT matters.
