Michele Ly Open House March 24, 2008
Posted by drowden in : Staff News , add a commentAfter 20 years of dedicated service to the UM-Flint campus, Michelle Ly has accepted an opportunity in Orlando, Florida with SCT/Banner. While a member of the ITS team, Michelle’s mark has been left on many initiatives. Some of her most significant contributions were the Banner implementation and Financial Aid scholarship system. For those of you who have been with the University longer, you may remember her contributions to Facilities, Human Resources and Financial Services when we were using the Colleague system.
While we in ITS will certainly miss Michelle, we are also excited for her as she embarks on a new and exciting chapter in her life. Information Technology Services is hosting an “Open House” on March 26th from 2:00 – 4:00 in our Conference Room (207 MSB) and would like to extend an invitation to everyone. Please join us in wishing her well as she moves to the “sunshine state”. Refreshments and light desserts will be served.

ITS helps to transform transcripts! September 10, 2007
Posted by admin in : General News, Safe Computing, Staff News , add a commentStarting September 10, 2007, UM-Flint students will notice that their official transcript looks different. The new transcripts are printed in portrait format, with the University of Michigan-Flint name in white type across the face of the document. If a transcript is photocopied the word “VOID” will appear on the copy to help provide a more secure transcript with a reduced chance for fraud. Without the assistance of ITS personnel, Mark Mercado and Michelle Ly, these changes would have been impossible.
Congratulations to Mark and Michelle on a job well done!
